The kids wanted to know which day of the week they were born on. Brennen was born on a Thursday and Maeve was born on a Wednesday.
It reminded me of the old nursery rhyme:
Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go.
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child born on the Sabbath Day,
Is bonny and blithe and good and gay.
So Brennen asks: What exactly does it mean to be full of woe?
Maeve explains: It means that those kids are surprised a lot - they're like, "WHOA!"
